Right back where we started from….

Ten years ago I got out some ink and painted a barn owl while the Super Bowl was on, and decided to auction it off for charity. The project got some legs and I did it again, and again, and again, and now it has been a whole decade of Superb Owl paintings, and just about a thousand dollars raised for wildlife rehabs in cities (okay, mostly Kansas City) all over the country.

I happen to be on the road this week, but I didn’t want this milestone to go by without an Owl, so I went right back to the beginning and did a re-paint of the original ink wash barn owl in Procreate. 12x18 prints are available now. That’s right, no auction this year, because there’s no original.

All owl print sales in the month of February will benefit PAWS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Seattle, Washington.
